Authors Favorite Books:

  • A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton G. Malkiel
    • This is a great book to start with if you’re a new investor. It sets the expectations for the journey you are about to embark on. The markets roar, and the markets crash, and it is very hard to time it and beat them.
  • The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham
    • This is another great book for investors. Benny G is the O.G value investor that inspired Warren Buffett. It gives you ideas on strategies for investing, and risks you may be open to.
  • Thinking Fast & Slow by Daniel Khaneman
  • The Black Swan by Nassim Nicholas Taleb
    • This book discusses the idea of Black Swan events. These are the big ones that no one sees coming. AKA Covid-19. Taleb reviews the fact that humans are incapable of predicting these events and it is extremely difficult to prepare for them. It’s along the idea of “the knowns, the known-unknowns, and the unknown-unknowns”.
  • Fooled by Randomness by Nassim Nicholas Taleb
